Waffling? Confused?
THANK YOU EVERYONE!! For the kind supportive words! It's good to know that i'm not in this alone and that some of you have experienced the same mixed emotions!
I had an appointment today and they're going to have me start protien shakes and lean green and see if I am successful and how I feel on that. I think I know that my situation and health has come to a point where something HAS to happen. I just get scared of the permenancy of this procedure. I was like that with my marriage too.. (LOL)
But thank you for sharing your insights and experiences!!

If you had cancer, and you were offered a surgical procedure that had a 98+% chance of putting your cancer into total remission, AND it would make you lose 100 pounds---would you even hesitate? Would you feel like you were a failure because you chose to have surgery to treat your cancer, and got the added benefit of weight loss?
Well, there's a form of WLS that has a 98+% chance of putting your diabetes into total remission, AND it will help you lose 100 pounds. It's called the Duodenal Switch, and I suggest you research it. There's a DS board here at OH, and more info at www.dsfacts.com.
