Ugh, I'm overtired and cranky today. Home with the kids and they're wearing me down quick. Took the big one to karate and I've been trying to get them to lay down for the last 45 minutes. It's not happening. I did an hour of CrossFit...25 burpees to start, 4 rounds for time of 15 pullups and 30 situps, ended with 25 burpees and then had an "after party" of 100 air squats. Insane and has made me super hungry today. That combined with the over-tired crankyness=eating junk.

Breakfast: Honeycrisp apple, 3 pb crackers, bites of my kids waffles. Prunes. Pretty much a mish mash on the go. No protein and so not Paleo...ugh.
Lunch: Brussels sprouts, Spinach/Tomato/Sausage Frittata
Snack: Banana w/ almond butter
Dinner: Protein Drink

Still recovering from the Warrior Dash, so I didn't go lift or anything today, but I did run. Got a mile in under 13.5 minutes, so I'm happy.

Breakfast was a banana nut Odwalla bar and half a cup of coffee.
Handful(s) of mini pretzels for snack
Lunch will be a Lean Cuisine
Snack - a babybel cheese maybe?
Dinner - Chicken pot pie

It was a tough weekend and I ate my feelings, which is never a good thing. I signed up for a race at the beginning of the year and it's been my fitness goal to do it ever since. Friday night we had a family emergency and couldn't travel to where it was at, so I didn't get to do it. Even though we were very much where we needed to be and I do not regret the decision to stay, I can't help but feel a little down about not getting to achieve what I set out to do. I have other races in October though, so I am still working.

Managed to pull myself out of bed and onto the elliptical this morning for a 45 minute run. All things considered, it's a victory.

Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: 3 oz. grilled chicken with raw cherry tomatoes, broccoli and green peppers.
Snack: Kashi protein and fiber bar
Dinner: Tacos for the husband and a piece of fish for me.
Snack: Another kashi bar

That's all for today. Hoping to be home in time to make that decent dinner, but if not I will just snag a rotisserie chicken on the way home.

Have a great Monday all!
