1wk post op checkup and feeling GREAT!
My appt went great today! It really has been a whirlwind week...some good, some not so good, but I have stayed on task the whole way! My nurse was so happy with my progress and positive attitude, she said I was a picture perfect patient and she wished ALL of her cases could go as well! I'm down 15 lbs (not a lot, but I'm thankful for every one of them!), that includes preop loss. But what HAS changed significantly is my attitude towards food in general and my self discipline.
So, now I move into soft/puréed foods, and she also backed my second checkup to this Friday, so I get my staples out in 4 days instead of 7! Can't wait for that, they are driving me NUTS itching!
