Well I am 9 weeks out and I work out 5 days a week- and want to increase it- with very few calories - is there anything that's considered too much?

Had RNY on 8/8/2012- revision from Gastric sleeve in 12/2008-

I wondered this too. I know I hit a stall but I wondered if I was working out too much (6-7 days a week) compared to the number of calories I'm eating.

I talked to my doctor about this and you should ask yours for his opinion. I asked at my 3 mo check up how healthy it was to work out while only getting in 400-500 calories. He told me to hold off until I wa****ting 800 a day which he thought I was at.

are you wanting to work out more because you love working out or are you thinking that it will help increase your weight loss???

the reason i am asking this is because i was working out a lot after surgery and had a stall. i posted on here about my exercise and was told to eat more.

I increased my calories and started losing.  You don't want to burn more than you eat which is what i was doing.

So if you are doing extreme workouts then you may need to increase your calories or the weight loss will decrease and you don't want that!!!!
