For lunch this afternoon, I met up with my husband. We ordered from this organic restaurant near his office. I ordered a Tabbouleh chicken plate, which had hummus, some sort of side pickled stuff, pita bread and tabbouleh mixed in with the chicken. In the menu description, it didn't mention that they were mixed together. I thought they were separate, but I ate some of the tabbouleh chicken mixture anyway--maybe 2 tablespoons of tabbouleh and 1.5 ounces of chicken before I started feeling full. I didn't have any of the other stuff--I just shared some of it with my daughter.

I guess my question is how far out are you before do you normally eat tabbouleh, if at all? I love tabbouleh, but it may have to be something to try again when I'm further out.

Tabbouleh is a whole grain and should be pretty good for you.  It sounds like you had enough to fill you up.  :)

I can't eat Tabbouleh for some reason. I have a hard time processing the bulgur in it and the little leaves as well. I can eat kibbe though, which is the ground meat with bulgur, but only the one we make at home, the fried one is just too dry for me. Oh, and I'm eight months out,

I probably tried tabbouleh around 6 months out, but it was Whole Foods version so had more onion & parsley than bulgar wheat.....
