Maybe you're not eating enough?  I think at ten weeks out I was eating closer to 1/2 cup at a time and I was eating four or five times a day.  If you get more protein, that might help.

More protein is the answer. It seems to keep the hunger away. At least it did for me.

Carmen,

Are you sure you are eating enough. at 3 weeks i was told 3 meals and 1-2 snacks.  Beginning the 3rd week I could eat soft diet (4-6 oz as tolerated)  I could eat 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup food.

If you are exercising as much as i think you are you need to be eating 5 times/day 1/4 to 1/2 cup of food.

Check over you dietary guidelines and see if it says only 3 meals/day of if it says to incorporate 1-2 snacks.

I eat 5 mini meals.  Protein first, veggies, sometimes carbs.

If i eat carbs, i want carbs so i have to be really careful!!!

I hope you are not completely restricting your carb intake sheesh...no wonder you are craving them. It might backfire on you and you will sabatoge yourself. Please try to eat more as well, it souns like you are under what you should be eating.

tHANK you everyone. for responding yep that is my meal plan assigned i even asked my dietian to start adding snacks she said no. I only eat around 300-400 calories a day , protein 20 grams, and excerise about 1,000 calories a day. I did start eatiing 1 extra protein snack a day. I see my doctor and dietian tommorrow.

This is what my meal plan calls for too. 3 meals, 2 oz each. No snacks. But I admit, I have a snack. Usually cheese or nuts. I just try to make sure I eat dense protien at meal times. And drink a lot of water.

I am a believer in following your plan, but that seems WAY too low to me.  My protein intake was closer to 60-80 at that point and my plan was to eat like 5-6 times a day.  I know not everyone believes in snacks but sometimes they are needed.

While they didn't tell me to count calories at that point, they wanted me close to 800-1000 rather early out so I didn't trash my body.

20 grams of protein is only about 1/4 of what you need.  If that's what your dietician is telling you to eat, she's giving you really dangerous advice.  I encourage you to seek a second opinion.
