That's insane, especially for a revision at two months out. Your loss WILL be slower. I will assume you research surgeons and picked a good cutter. Now it's up to you to find a good NUT and support group and ignore him. Some surgeons have horrible bedside manner and aftercare.

My dietian told me that I should not be focusing on calories or protein just on ounces.. I understand they are trying to change my mind set its just so frustrated because I know others that cheat and don't even excerize and here I am doing what they are telling me and my weight loss is so slow

I agree with the other comments as it doesn't seem like you are getting enough protein or food in you.

I still take 3 -4 protein shakes a day along with two small meals.

Your body probably thinks you are starving and holding on to everything.

I would get a 2nd opinion and fast.

Perhaps your doctor is genetically STUPID? No wonder you're frustrated. I was SMO which oftentimes means I lose weight more quickly than my lightweight counterparts. At 2 months out I lost 46.5 lbs, and my surgeon, PCP and neurologist were thrilled. I'd get a second opinion if I were you. I think you're not eating enough, and your protein intake sounds dangerously low. You should be getting at least 60 gr a day. I found more protein also assisted me in bigger losses weekly. Don't let this pompous ass ruin your dream. Put the candy away and seek better council.

Carmen,

I am a revision from lab band to RNY too.

I have told you before that I don't think you are getting enougt calories in to support the obsene amount of exercise you are doing.

please try to balance the exercise and the food intake.  I still don't believe you are eating enough with the exercise you are doing.

There is too much of a deficit.  You need to be eating atleast 600 to 800 calories to balance out the exercise you are doing and that still puts you in a negative calorie intake.

I exercised from day 3 and had the same problem you are having.  I had to up my calories to keep losing

It's frustrating because I personally started increasing my protein 4 weeks ago and my weight loss stopped I then started this meal and started loosing seems my body is just not liking either way I go .. But it's very slow this was the problem I had when I had the sleeve- I just didn't loose weight

You need to eat more calories. Suggested eating schedule is every 2-3 hours all day long, about 6 meals daily.  Smaller portions that a traditional meal. This smaller amount spread throught the day helps fuel your body better.  I would try mixing up your food choices, and try to avoid the exact same thing daily. It's the same with exercise. You do need some exercise almost daily, but try not do do the same exact form of exercise every day long term. Change it up every few days, or do a "rotation".  Do some walking, biking, swimming, cardio, wts., etc.  DAVE
