My solution to ensuring sufficient protein intake!

The other night, I was sooo very hungry and several suggested that maybe I wasn't getting enough protein.  I reviewed what I was taking in and I'm not sure that I was.  So, what I've decided to do is this...
When I make my morning 1/2 c. coffee, I make like a little latte drink with a protein shake gently stirred into the coffee that gives me 25gm.  Then, after I eat my dense protein breakfast, I begin my drinking of my newest favorite drink....a Crystal Light lemonade with a splash of SF raspberry syrup, mixed with a scoopful of Unjury unflavored protein powder that adds another 21gm to my day, shaken with crushed ice.  Yum!  Then I made some SF jello and added a scoop of the Unjury unflavored protein powder to that, also.  More protein gms and fluids!
I think, in addition to the meals of dense proteins, this will help me to get enough protein.
I've also added a few veggies to my meals.  So far, I've had carrots and spinach without  any problems.
Thoughts?

I forgot to add that I repeat the lemonade/protein scoop drink throughout the day...so far, I'm nearly finished with the second one today...it's a 28 oz. Blender Bottle.

Where do you find the sugar free raspberry syrup at?

Great ideas!  I have a gross-out thing with the unflavored protein powders for some reason...  Do you like Greek yogurt?  You could sweeten it up with your SF syrup (yum btw) or Equal.  I've heard people using protein powder in it too.

I love Greek yogurt!  Even plain.  But, I'm trying to steer clear of snacking.  I'm thinking if I have the drinks, I'll not be so likely to carry over the bad habits of snacking as prior to surgery.

Because I've never been able to face eating breakfast in the morning, at four years post-op, I still begin my day with a protein shake that's about 50 grams.

I figure that this gets and keeps me on the right track for the day, and so far all my labs have been right on.

I like your drink idea and would like to use it. where do you get the sf syrup at? I love crystal light lemonade and put unflavored unjury protein powder in it but would like to try the sf syrup as a change up. i applaud your diligence in getting in your protein.  I take a scoop of the unflavored unjury and sprinkle a little on my meals to help boost my protein intake. When the scoop is gone at the end of the day I know I can add those grams.  The coffee sounds interesting as well thanks for sharing.

I've seen big bottles of the SF raspberry syrup at Sam's Club for about $5 but you can order them online from Amazon or the DaVinci or Torani websites.

Sam's doesn't have all of the flavors in sugar free but I've seen caramel, vanilla, french vanilla, hazelnut, kahlua, and raspberry at mine. I've seen smaller bottles of a few sugar free flavors at Wal Mart but I don't remember if they had sf raspberry.
