Home now 3days out
Well, I am sure that you will be way more successful than she!!
My adult daughter (who is a hottie) sweet talked the male nurse into giving me a private room because she was going to stay over night with me and couldn't in a semi private room. He not only moved me, but brought her a bed, several extra pillows and a full menu!!

Multimom, love it!! One of the nurses came in and commented on her snoring and said they would try to move me as soon as a room came up- thankfully she left the day before me!

Yay!!! I've been waiting to hear from you. I'm so glad it's over and you're now home. There's always someone like your room mate who thinks they know it all and I'm usually the one who gets stuck with them lol. Thankfully, I had a private room. I probably would've made an a$$ of myself and told her off or complained profusely to the nurses. But, it's all behind you now. You're home and now you can relax and concentrate on recovering. Feel free to shoot me a message anytime. Congrats and here's to better luck with this surgery .

Hey Shannon, thank you!! Went to shoot you a msg before surgery when I was freaking out and realised we had to pay for net access by the hour!! I chose not to have any net for three days instead, so glad to be home in my wn bed, now just need to feel a bit more human and I'll be good!

Aww...hate to hear you had to freak out own your own lol. I was so tired by the time I got home. They don't let you rest at all in the hospital! But, YOU DID IT!!! Now on to healing. Just remember those first couple of weeks are the worst. I seriously had one day in the second week where I did nothing but cry and sleep. Since then, it's been so much better. Don't beat yourself up if you're not perfect. I'm still not getting all my protein as hard as I try. It gets better everyday though. Just concentrate on your fluids (protein or not) and walking. In a couple of weeks you'll be fine!!
