I bet you wont do it again! I was at a salad place and they had these pretty SMALL blueberry muffins. I tried one of those and 15 minutes later I was sick as a dog.

Live and learn.

We went out to eat with friends, probably a year ago, and I had the salad bar.  It was really small so I could have something else too.  I spent most of the evening in the ladies room trying to throw up.  Once I did, I felt fine but I missed the entire dinner.  I haven't had a salad since.

So glad you are feeling better now... Thank goodness I have yet to "dump"!!  My worse fear!!  I hate hate hate throwing up or even feeling like I am going too... Maybe after all the years I had to deal with diverticulitis and gastroparisis and the weeks of vomitting...

So, now you know don't eat the cheese!!

I think we all have these moments.  I believe this is what helps me stay in check!!  Once it happens once or twice, you certainly don't want it to happen again!  It makes you stop and think before you take those bites!  Get better!

Next time -You will have next time - try to drink a lot of warm water - tea. The water helps to move the offending food down, helps with spasm and also may allow to throw up... if something is still lodged in your pouch. Lots of warm water -- or herbal tea...

I don't dump but I still have had a moment or two of "what was I thinking?!" Because even though I don't dump, anything too carby, sugary, or fatty will make me feel like crap and sick to my stomach. It's definitely a learning process and I think it's hard to overcome years and years of bad habits.

I'm glad you got to feeling better!

Oh, and I like H.a.l.a.'s suggestion of a warm beverage. That sounds soothing.
