Sugar free cranberry sauce recipe, along with a few others... and Thanksgiving thoughts

Just found a recipe for sugar free cranberry sauce. Yet another Thanksgiving food that I LOVE and wasn't thinking about. I think I may try to make stuffing with whole grain bread, or the recipe using garbazo beans, and have just a tiny bit with this cranberry sauce and TONS of turkey.

My daughter and I are going to serve Thanksgiving meals to the poor, but we still have to have some sort of dinner at home with my husband, too. I just won't make the massive amounts of unhealthy foods that I have in the past. Instead, I'll just change up the recipes and make healthy foods for everyone. Even pumpkin pie!

So, those are just a few foods that I will probably make for our Thanksgiving, to have after serving meals.
Gosh, I'm actually looking forward to holidays now! After doing a bit of research, it's not looking so hopeless as I had initially thought. Amazing how we make food such a focal point in life...

I love this. It sums up how I feel now. I look forward to the turkey and this sugar free cranberry together would be perfect!
I also like: Potato and turnip mashed together. I;ll have a tablespoon of that too:)
I do want to make some pumpkin recipes too. Pumpkin is so healthy and my husband and I love it. I am thnkng this low carb pie with no crust that you posted and the pumpkin peanut butter fudge from hungry girl with sugar free cake mix for my son (who is four).
I love how you are volunteering too! I am looking for a 5k to do that is for a good cause. I also will not stick around the table while people eat. I will get a puzzle going in the other room. That will keep my hands busy!
I'm not sure I'd like mashed turnips? Haven't really tried turnips since I was a kid and I remember I didn't like them back then. Tastes change, so I may try them to see. I thought about the sitting around the table, too, but since it's just the three of us this year, I don't see a problem with having some broth to start with and then eating as they are winding up? I dunno. I just want to try and make food less of a focal point...a lifetime of habit/routine to change.

It is actually NSA - No sugar added- cranberry sauce. The cranberries and the juice have enough sugar that could make me sick.
Unfortunately some of us long term - can be affected by natural sugars from juice or cranberries. 1-2 years post op I could eat that. 4 years post op- I can't anymore.
