Carry protein snacks!!! Lesson learned.
Yesterday, between lunch and before dinner, my daughter and I went shopping...grocery and health/beauty. I usually carry something with me...a cheese stick, protein shake, something. This time, I forgot. As we shopped, I was getting really hungry. It was hunger, as my lunch wasn't much and I planned to have a shake when I could drink afterwards. The last place that we went to was the grocery, so as we stood at the deli to get sliced turkey, I could seriously HEAR my stomach growl. I'm thinking the deli worker did, too, because she asked it we would like a sample of the turkey. She sliced from different brands to let us "try" them. LOL My daughter said I was like an animal getting a scrap of food! At one point, I was almost saying out loud, "Chew, chew, chew!" as I was so frantic in my eating this turkey. OMGosh, I never thought turkey could taste SO good!
From this, I've learned to ALWAYS carry something to eat and/or drink.

I keep quest bars in my purse. They travel better than most bars.
