10/8/12 – start of my pre-op two week liquid diet, 243.5 pounds.

10/22/12 – surgery day RYN and gallbladder removal, 235.0 pounds.

The RYN only took 1 ½ hours and the gallbladder took 2 hours because it was encased in endometriosis and adhesions.  NO MORE PAIN!  Thus far no compilations (thank you GOD).  Gas has been a bit of an issue since I started eating more foods.  Gas-X seems to be help so far.

As of today 11/4/12 I weigh 217.5 pounds.  Total Down from pre-op diet = 26 pounds; total down from surgery date 17.5 pounds.

My surgeon used Dermabond instead of staples or stitches on the outer incisions which was wonderful.  Made for an easier recovery for me.

I would like to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.  I stressed out more than I should have.  I remember walking the day after surgery with my dad saying, I guess it’s too late to take it back now.  As of right now I am not taking any of my blood pressure meds.  Before surgery I took 5 pills a day.   Right now it is low (96/63).  I have an appointment with my PCP in two weeks so he can keep an eye on it.

This last week I started crying over everything.  I’m not sad or depressed, just crying????

Will keep you all updated.

The moodiness is normal. Large amounts of hormones are stored in fat and are now being released into your body like bad PMS. It's all normal and you are doing great!
