Chest pain

I came home from surgery on wensday and been having chest pain in between my breast. It dont matter how slow I drink, how warm it is it doesnt go away. Should I call the doc or is this normal?

Did you have hernia repair as well? If you're ever in doubt if what your feeling is normal call your dr. Usually if you say chest pain they tell you to go to the ER.

All I had done was the RNY. It all started yesturday and makes it hard to breath and drink.

I would definitely call dr. It could be a stricture. Hopefully you can get things figured out soon so you can start feeling better. Keep us posted!

Have you tried Gax X strips? I used 3 at a time......try that and put in a call now to your Dr. They have someone on call for emergencies.

I don't have anything for gas. I haven't left the house at all. I'm waiting for them to call me. I can say that I am scared, I can't take deep breathes

If you are having trouble breathing, go to the ER or call 911.

Any fever?  It could be gas related to surgery but you really need to call your surgeon.  Hopefully it isn't any complication but take no chances.

I had a fever yesturday but it wasn;t bad. They are going to see me at 1245. SO just waiting, the nurse said it could be a lot of different things. But since I can feel it while breathing she dont think it is gas. But we will have to see.

I had something very similar and it was esophageal spasms...I did go to the ER with it only because it wouldnt go away. They gave me muscle relaxers that were for the digestive system and it did go away.
