When I got to my docs he thought it was odd that I was starting to feel anything being only two days out of the hosptail. So he orderd a cat scan and blood work. I did the blood work first. The only vein they could use was my left forearm. She used a butterfly and no blood came out. But when she pulled it out she started asking me if I was ok. I guess my lips went blue and I was as white as her coat. The next thing I knew I could no longer see and they we telling me to keep my eyes open with ice packs everywhere on my face. Well that took about 30 mins to come back. She didn't want to poke me again til the cat scan was done. So went back for the cat scan and the had to hook up an iv...ugh... they did it in my right arm where my elbow is.(right arm has bad veins) well as the where putting the idoine in, my vein started pushing it back out. So my arm got the size of a softball and pain. So they had to pull the iv and ice my arm, and of crouse no blood came out. They called in the best vein poker lol and she used my left arm that looks like a junkies parise and got the iv hooked up. She called lab and had them come get blood so I didn't get poked again. Then back tothe idoine. WHich started to drip on my head. So they had to stop it again find the leak, and back in it again. Finally it gets out done, and they send me back to my docs with the iv still in my just incase I had be amitted. My doc looked over what the test said and of crouse nothing he can do!!! UGH!!! I guess my old stomach has gas and liquid in it that is cauing me pain and I have to just wait til it clears up on its own. He told me to keep to just liquids to help it. Ugh haha. Sorry it was so long, a lot happened.

Yeah, unfortunately, no gas preparation is going to affect your blind, remnant stomach. Did he say HOW the gas and liquid got into it???

He said when the new stomach was getting cut that they must of pinched the old one not letting all the gas and liquid out. He said I could have this pain for months.

Hmmmm...

Your old stomach is still attached to your intestine, so I guess I am confused about why it would take so long for gas and/or liquid to drain from the stomach.

oh, well.. I hope it subsides quickly!

He isn't sure how long it could take. It could be days to months. He just wants me to keep things simple and I have to take my acid medinace two times a day now.
