NSV - I didn't think they would fit yet

So my daughter and I went shopping late in the afternoon on Friday, we had no reason to fight the crowds the night before or the early morning crowds. But when we went to the store in the afternoon Friday we were able to find some good deals, well one of mine was a pair of jeans for $9.50, the catch was that there wasn't any in my current size of 20, so I bought an 18 figuring I would fit into them soon, well I tried them on when we got back to my daughter's and they fit!!! I wore them today and I actually think it won't be long before they are too big!!!! I love no longer having to buy 28's that were pretty tight!! I love being able to buy clothes from the non-plus sizes!!! However I still seem to gravitate toward the plus section, but my daughter always steers me to the correct section always stating "Mom you are not that size anymore" One day my brain will finally understand that I don't have to shop plus sizes anymore. I have not worn pants with a size starting with 1 in a long time!!! I guess I need to pull those 22's I keep wearing from my closet and put in the donate box. I think I will take a box with me to my 6 month check up on the 30th  and donate them to my surgeon's transition clothing closet and maybe I will take a peek there myself to see what I could use. I really am enjoying my RNY life!!!!

Thanks Ladies! Yes I am very careful buying new clothes, I either need a great sale like the $9.50 for a pair of jeans or I usually buy on clearance, and I have been to second hand stores, but so far most of my clothes have been hand me downs from my daughter because she has lots of clothes that are too big for her and has been passing them my way!!!

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. It requires sacrifice. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT! (Author Unknown). I feel this sums up my ongoing journey to a healthier me!
