Anyone having surgery on or around December 12th?

I am having my RNY on December 12th, I am a band to bypass revision. I was just wondering if anyone else was having their surgery at the same time so we could check on each other and get to know each other. I love and appriciate all the advice I get on her from all the vets but for me it is comforting to have people who are going through the same thing as me at the same time :)

I'm having mine december 4th in Augusta :) Feel free to add me. I wont know whether im having rny or a sleeve til I wake up lol

I'm scheduled for mine on Dec 13th..but i won't know if I'm approved until a few days before..I'll have to let you know.  Good Luck!!

I have a surgery date of 12/14/12 but that is pending insurance approval. Man, I sure hope they let me know something by then. It will close! Hopefully, they won't keep me hanging on until a day or two before. I can't imaging a denial as I have met ALL requirements however, I am also a revision so I've heard they can be more difficult to get approved. Keeping my fingers crossed. Did you have any trouble with your insurance since you had prior WLS? I had the band in 2003 and out due to massive erosion in 2005; right at 22 months.  Then I had the sleeve but was told it wasn't a true sleeve due to scar tissue AND my stomach is abnormally long. LMAO..whatever that means!!! Anyway, I'm praying I'm approved!  Good luck with yours!
