i am preparing a few things that i need for after surgery. does the gas x really work? i have seen a few people on here that they swear by. i am trying to make my mind up if i will need it.any comments are appreciated.

I brought chewable gas x and yes it does work. It is nice to have right after surgery.

Yes gas x helps. Mt surgeon suggested to chew 2-3 tablets when needed. I am 4 days post op and still taking it.

didnt use it right after but i swear by it, i get the equate version. i also swear by papaya enzyme. it helps digest food, upset stomach, and tastes good!

i stopped using my digestive enzyme since my surgery last week. u think its helping?

Papaya enzyme isn't a probiotic. It just helps upset stomachs and food move along like if you ate one bite too many. If I get a queasy tummy I chew a couple.

I wouldn't stop a probiotic, I was told that we don't have as many good bacteria as we used to.
