My first was right after I got home...then nothing for almost a week...I had to take some MoM to get me going and I really waiting to long...now I still have to take a dose every couple of days to get a movement...my doc said that sometimes RNYr's suffer constipation early out.

So if you are feeling like maybe you need to go but can't you may want to check in with your doc to see what you can take to alleviate the problem.  Mine told me MoM (Milk of Ma.)

I couldn't fart for a couple of days but I hiccupped a lot! My first bm came about 4-5 days after surgery if i remember correctly.

3 days to pass gas, 4 days to move bowels.  Just now, almost 3 months out, I'm fairly regular again.

I took 1 ducolax at day 6 to ease the pain. It worked. Also walk! walk! walk!

Yea, you need to walk out the gas and to get your insides moving.  The more you move the more it will pass...

I wish you luck!!
