Saturday - What's on your plate?
I know we don't usually do weekend plate threads. I am sick and bored, humor me.
Last night my temp stayed at 102.4 after Tylenol and a couple hours later Lortab (I was aching so bad just laying down hurt!). The Lortab I guess broke the fever (at least temporarily) because I woke up with my clothes so drenched in sweat I could just about wring them out! And I was FREEZING. So I took a hot shower, turned on my heat, crawled under my 2 fleece blankets and sleeping bag while wearing sweatpants, t-shirt, fleecelined hoodie sweatshirt jacket. I finally warmed up enough to sleep. THinking my run for today may be postponed
B - warm mint cookie
L - Nik's Chicken Pot Pie. Thawing leftover T'giving Turkey to make "turkey pot pie". I love it - I hope I feel like eating. Otherwise it will be an orange cream protein smoothie (cooking for my parents, since my mom is also very sick now... she's going to the doc at 1)
D - depends on how I feel? shake or pot pie

I was hoping you'd be better. I'm so sorry you're not. Sounds like you're doing the right things though. Just make sure to get those fluids!
This morning I got up and shipped out some BF stuff, then took my daughter to a middle school pen house then we did lunch at Chipotle. Now I am going to chillax for a few moments before going for a run with my friend Katey.

3. Rice-less Burrito Bowl with Chicken
4. Cottage Cheese w/ PB2 and Splenda
5. Click Frapp
6. Something...for dinner

Had a food flip-out yesterday involving popcorn (my old nemesis...we meet again!) and what the hell happened to me at the grocery store last night? I found a whole pumpkin pie in the back seat of my car this morning! No sugar added, but they left in all the calories. I would love to report that I gave it to the beggar at the intersection, but instead I ate a humongous slice. I doubt if anyone will want a used pie. le sigh. Must remember it's no worse a waste going into the garbage than going into my body.
Trying to balance it out today.
B: the aforesaid pie, and too much coffee. Bleahh.
L: 3 oz turkey
Tea: 1/2 cup jicama
D: 3 oz red snapper, broccoli
BT: There used to be a night monster in my closet. Now there's a night monster in my head. I will placate it by eating broccoli, green beans cooked nice and soft, and half a Premier chocolate drink. I think monsters are repelled by green beans.
I ate almost nothing yesterday, I was so stressed out.
Today was pretty much par the course. Egg and cheese omelette for breakfast, banana and a chocolate protein shake for a snack, virginia ham and swiss cheese sandwich for lunch, and salmon and a salad with some wild rice is planned for dinner. 1220 calories and 95g of protein.
