Bulgy stomach? Hernia?

I have lost enough weight that my stomach is a little flatter.  When I stand straight up, suck in a bit, I have a round, protruding, soft area about the size of an orange.  It's just above my belly button and just below two of the "butterflies" (incision sites) from my RNY.
I have a follow up appointment with my surgeon soon, so I'll show it to him.  I have no pain in the area, it's nontender to touch.
Could just be my new body shaping? Hernia? I dunno...

I found the same thing to the bottom and right of my belly button mine is indeed a hernia and I'm having surgery on the 20th. They said if you can "pu**** back in" it's safe to wait. so I'm leaving for my cruise tomorrow and I'll worry about it when I get back lol

That would be a no brainer for me, too.  Surgery...cruise...surgery...cruise?  CRUISE!

When you stand up have  you tried to push the bulge back in ?

I had a hernia and that's how I could  tell.

It does go in.  I would bet that it's a hernia, but I want the doctor to tell me for sure.  I just wish, if it is, that it would have been found during surgery and repaired at that time.  I HATE, HATE, HATE the thought of another surgery!
