Does anyone have any meal suggestions.  My meals are as follows:

Breakfast: 1 Pure Protein Bar

Lunch: Tuna/Chicken Salad, Cottage Cheese with Sugar Free Peaches, and sugar free tapioca pudding

Dinner: Meat with vegetables/salad or sweet potato

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to change this up a bit and maybe it would kick start my weight loss, as I have been at the same weight for approximately 8 weeks.  Thanks for all the help you have provided for me.

First off, it doesnt look like your eating enough.  I am 3 months post-op and on a normal day this is what i eat.

7am B: GNC lean shake

10a  Snack, Almonds

12pm Lunch; Chili with 2 crackers

2pm Snack; sting cheese

Dinner, Tonight its pork chops with mashed cauliflower and Broc.

Snack later will be protein bar.

Total its about 800 calories.

You should be doing 6 meals. or 3 meals 3 good snacks. Almost 100 grams of carbs, 60-100 grams of protein, 60-100 oz of water.

As far as meal suggestions. You can be eating anything that doesnt bother  you. Like i said I am only 3 months post op but i eat what i want, other then milk.

If you like to cook  there are may sites out there for ideas,  worldaccordingtoeggface.com is my favorite. or Bariatric Foodie is also great

 Most days are as follows

Breakfast - Vanilla Protein Shake made with Almond milk and 1 tablespoon of freeze dried coffee

snack - fruit cup or 1 cup of berries

Lunch - usually 2 oz deli meat with 1 oz cheese ((colby jack is my fav) I make a rollup with mustard and cut it into bite size peices and have it with some kind of cracker. a small salad using cherry tomatoes, cucumber, peppers (red or green)

                                                                                            or

shrimp ****tail with the veggies

snack - protein bar or 2 oz of nuts (cashews or almonds or pistacios

Dinner - Chicken, beef or pork (depends on what I feel like and some more veggies.  I travel a lot for work so sometimes I have the meat out of a lean cuisine or Healthy Choice dinner.  I make sure that it has lots of protein and never get the ones with pasta

snack (if I am hungry)  SF pudding with berries

My thoughts are  there is nothing I can not eat as long as I get my protein in. Jus****ch the sugar and fat.
