Sometimes I think the "all about me"'s need a 2 x 4 upside the head! Who in their right mind would ever think that what was proposed was doable for everyone?

Glad it is all sorted out and you are happy with YOUR arrangements - leave the drama up to rest ...

I am OK with the "I told you so!" being a silent one. Sometimes those are the best ones. He will just turn it around to that he made the decision, not that I know his mother better than he does!

I'm glad to hear this worked out! And you give me hope that some day I will be able to get along with my (soon-to-be) ex for my daughter's sake. My only question is ... how do you get over the anger? Ah, maybe this is a question for another day. And my therapist. :0)

For me, I saved the worst of the anger for times and places that my kids didn't have to witness it. That very different from telling them that what he did was acceptable in any way. Our youngest was 12 when he took up with this one, so mine were old enough to handle truths that a younger child may not.

I told them all that I don't want them to be disrespectful to her. They don't have to be her friend if they don't want to, but she is with their father. (Well at least until she finds out that he cheats on her too! and he does. sigh......)
