OT--coconut oil

As a Christmas present to myself, I got some coconut oil. I am planning to use it on my hair and skin. Has anyone used it for those purposes? I know i can use it in cooking, too, but was curious about other people's experiences with it. I just used some on my face, and it feels pretty good--even though it is a bit stronger--scent wise--than I had anticipated.

Yes!! Love love love it, I have waist length hair and its saved the ends, great on excema and I use it in lots of recipes( not as much post op yet but more because I haven't had a chance) I'm also a big believer in young coconu****er-fresh not the bottled stuff, it' feels amazing when you drink it!

Yes! I use it all over - skin, hair, even my face (just a little is an amazing night time moisturizer). It also has anti fungal qualities. I keep a separate jar of the virgin, organic stuff to cook with sometimes too.
