Well, I am thinking about going to school on feb. 13...its a massage school, part of the uniform i have to get dark blue scrubs pants and shirts...I know nothing about these items...i generally do not get top of the line anything. pretty much middle of the road...i will need at least 3-4 pairs as i will be going every day....so they need to be washed alot...

so for those of you that wear these...what brand do you suggest? where to get them?? how much do they typically run?? i am in a 16/18 pants right now....they said i could get different pants but had to match the tops with the same color shade..but just not jeans....so any suggestions would be great on what to watch for in these things....

thanks for the help....cant beleive i am thinking about going back to school at my age..im 51 with grand kids....going back to school..what a thought..

You can always go to a Walmart they have lots of different style shirts and pants.  They have either unisex or more lady styles ie. boot cut pants and wrap looking shirts many different designs.  Very affordable btw 10-14 a piece and durable.  Good luck !!

Congratulations on going back to school!! I also am going back to school soon. I am 47 and a grandma who is going to become a midwife. It is something I have wanted to do for a very long time. I now feel like I physically can handle it.

My fave scrub brand is Cherokee...They are super comfy and they wash well.  I bought lots of scrubs when I was in medical assisting school and even though I'm not working in the field right now, i still wear scrubs all the time!  :0)

I wore Cherokee brand, also.  They don't fade as quickly as some and are very durable.  The "Workwear" line is what I usually bought.
Congratulations on returning to school!  I was enrolled in an LPN to RN program when I decided I just didn't want to be a nurse anymore.  So, now, I have all my pre requisite classes completed and have to decide what I want to be when I grow up!  When I decide, I'll return.  I'm soon to be 52...it's interesting to be in classrooms with teenagers and younger adults.  Fun, too!

I get my stuff at walmart. If you are normally in a size 16/18 then a L/XL will probably work. Try them on there, as the material does not stretch and I always end up in a larger size than my normal stretchy clothes would be.
