Got the approval for surgery for Jan, 2 2013 guess I'll be finally keeping my New Years resolution. I am nervous after reading some of the posts but i have to do this for myself!!!

Yay for you!!! This is such an awesome gift we are giving ourselves!! Tomorrow is my birthday and I'll start my Optifast then too...mixed feelings there but I know it's for the better.

Congratulations!  Don't worry about what you read on here.  It is great to read about possible things that can happen, but remember that it is not you.  I was really scared and was constantly thinking that the worst could happen to me and there has been absolutely nothing wrong with me.  You will do just fine!

Hopefully all will be smooth if not i have to roll with the punches!
