So this is what happens with you lose 148lbs..excess skin pic

I posted clothed progress pics earlier today for my 1 year anniversary and wanted to post the dreaded excess skin pic. I think my arms look good..but EVERYTHING else needs help :) 

My current stats..5ft6 - 132lbs 28 yrs old.

Kudos to you for having the courage to share your private pictures with us!  In reality, I guess we all know we're going to face this, but I think it comes down to outlook.  You can think of them as your "battle wounds" because you won the war!!

I've got lots of lose skin, too.  It definitely comes with the territory. Love me, love my lose skin.  I don't have the funds or interest in plastic surgery, so I'm just going to have to learn to love it as part of me.  Its one of the reasons that I tell people that this isn't cosmetic surgery...its about health.  Congrats on the amazing weight loss!

I don't look forward to the loose skin either but I feel the same about it as I do my current extra chins, stretch marks etc. it will not define me, only the battles I've fought to get to where I am. It really is all about health. If it really bugs you, then find a way to get rid of it. Best of luck and congrats in making it this far in your journey. Can't wait to start mine!

I was happier with the loose skin than with the fat and four weeks post plastics, I am amazed and happier still. My thighs and belly are wrinkle- free.  I feel and look much better. I lost 158 pounds. 

Congrats on your plastics! I got a very reasonable quote from Dr. Sauceda today but I just don't think I can escape to mexico for 12 days anytime soon so I'm going to talk to a few surgeons here as well. 

Congrats! Doesnt it feel so much better to have our loose skin then our stretched out skin! To me, it's like a reminder of where we came from and where I don't want to go back to, ever.... When I'm in clothing I often forget my belly button is drooping under my shirt, and when I am undressed and see my belly I think, holy crp, to think that skin was a good 2 feet out from my body!  Manda, you have come a long way in one year, I'm so proud of you, you have been a wonderful example to us!
