Regretting getting bypass
When I first came home I did regret it...I felt terrible, I did not want to eat pureed food , I could not sleep in bed it hurt to much. But I do have to say I am coming around now when I remember why I did this was just not for me but also for my kids. I had my surgery December 17 2012 so i am not that far but I am starting to feel better.
I don't regret it at all, although there are a few things that I am needing to adjust to learn how to adapt with. My iron is tanking and a few other issues, but the benefits outweigh the negatives to me.

I don't regret it at all! That being said about a week out I did have a low, where I couldn't eat, I was tired, grumpy and feeling a little sorry for myself wondering what the heck I'd just done to myself! Thank goodness that emotional time was very short, and I'd go thru it all over again in a second!

Some days, the weight I've lost so far is defiantly not worth what I've put my family through and what I've been through,I do try to stay positive most of the time but sometimes it's hard and the negatives get the better of me.
you don't say how long ago or if you've even had it done yet? Are you having problems or just researching still?
