HELP...Hot Flashes???

Not sure if this is related to my surgery but I am 9 months out from Surgery and about 2 months ago I started having Hot Flashes a lot. I am 43 years old so not sure if this is related to my Gastric surgery....anyone have this problem?  Maybe I not getting enough water or something.

Do you feel shaky or jittery when this happens?

They could be related to menopause.  I was about your age when I started having hot flashes. 

I had terrible hot flashes about 2 weeks out of surgery.  Thank goodness they're gone now, but there during the summer I was running the air conditioner overtime!  I think it has to do with all the changes your body is going through.

I had been totally over them for decades, but after RNY they came back. They aren't as bad now as when I had surgical menopause, thank heavens, so I don't mind them much. In general, my temp regulation is out of whack since surg. I run hot, catch a bone chill, have a hot flash, my fingers ice up, my feet catch on fire... it makes the day interesting.
