no bowel movement yet

got any ideas? havent had a bowel movement yet since surgery fri. took both moms they gave me about 10 hrs apart. i called the clinic but nobody answered.

I think I had my first BM three/four days later.

lol i had exploratory surgery on friday. they found adhesions and a kinked intestine

Something else to mention.  Since they messed with your intestines I wonder if they have to "wake up".

How is the pain?  How much have you eaten, dense or liquids?  Are you able to drink liquids, try to drink more if you can?   Warm liquids seem to help me more than colder liquids. 

Glad you called your clinic.  Three days isn't odd for me even now I don't go but 2-3 days a week, not constipated I just don't have to go.

Pain is minimal. Actually cut back on them. I'm eating pretty good too. They got back to me and said to take mirilax 2 times a day. Drinking is kinda iffy. Slept all day and night last night. Was just up to take my pills. If I don't have any results in a few ill drink miralax.
