I had one for while I was at work, and wasn't real impressed.  It wasn't something that worked for me, but if it will get you started working out I would say go for it.  Everyone has to start somewhere!

I've never really used an exercising bike, so I didn't know what to expect from this. I do have a treadmill, but its in the garage and I'm in Michigan, brrrrrr.   Thanks for your response.

you can also find them at wal mart....i had one from my grandma, but was not that impressed with it..you can use your feet or pedal with your hands for an upper arm work out...

i would check out wal mart so its easier to take back if you dont like it and you dont have to pay for shipping

have a blessed day

I kept one under my desk at work and used it while working.  It was difficult to type while making the bike-riding motion with my legs, but I used it.  It even got me sweating at times.  I, however, was (and am still not) that fond of exercise, so it was finally sold - but I agree, it is better than nothing!

Hmmmm, I think i might try it, then return it if I don't like it...can't wait for warmer weather so I can get outdoors. *sigh

A couple of the IT type guys use those at their desks but I would end up needing a shower if I tried it LOL!  Lots of us girls sit on the big exercise balls at our desks a couple hours a day, good core workout.  Plus several of us have brought in 5 lb weights to use when on the phone, it really adds up.

We are fortunate to have an excellent gym where I work but I have to get there early - I am NOT comfortable being seen working out just yet!  :)

Every little bit helps, even just standing up when on the phone and doing a few bends or tricep curls makes a diff.  Learned that from my trainer and it does keep the burn going - without having to change!
