I had my surgery on 11/26/12 and im doing good. Even though i had severe nausea for the 1st six weeks and was not able to eat hardly any of the foods on the list but things are much better now. In 6 weeks I have lost 58 lbs and down 7 sizes. So obviously im doing something right. lol..

Even though im loosing a lot of weight im very happy but i just noticed im starting to get BAT WINGS... Yuk.... Does anyone know of any exercise that i can start doing that can help.

i want to exercise but my dr wants me to wait another 4 weeks.

Any suggestions?

I call mine bingo wings!!! It's loose skin and I don't think anything can be done. I had them before I lost weight, but it's even worse now. Tank tops are not on my list of shirts to wear this summer.

You scared me for a minute!  Stage four means nothing to those of us that didn't have numbered stages and thought you were referring to stage 4 cancer. Every surgeon has a different protocol how and what you eat.     Glad it was just your food stage.   Jane

Hi Mary:  Perfect timing on this question because I have the same problem and took my question to the hospitals registered exercise and fitness Director.   The bad news is ...    He said there are no exercises that will cause the bat wings to melt..  However,  with some repeated basic arm exercises you can tone and somewhat firm up the muscles in that area.  ( just started mine this week).  I have 3 areas where is it really bad =  (arms, stomach and upper thighs, between my legs.  I knew going in that I would probably have to have plastic surgery to firm those areas, but I'm going to wait until I reach my goal first.

Swimming helps and exercising with "stretchy bands" help, but nothing reverses the flabby skin that he has ever found.  But kiddo you are not alone.

Good Luck
