Second denial. Ugh! OK, guys, what's next? Gear up for battle? Give up?

DON'T GIVE UP!!!! I have a different type of insurance but I was in your shoes. I got denied twice. I had to prove that I've had a BMI of 40 or higher for the last 5 years. Well, 5 years ago my BMI was 36. I have NO other health issues other then being overweight. My surgeon got out the phone with my insurance and fought for me and I was approved. After the 2nd denial I lost hope and got pretty depressed. Don't stop now...it is possible....you can beat the requirements like I did. Good luck! I'm praying for ya!!!!

Don't give up! I started my fight with UHC this evening but for a different reason. My decision is pending on what's in my options bogus BS. My journey started September 2012 and paperwork was submitted December 2012 but they're trying to enforce the 2013 guidelines. No way Jose! Wishing you the best of luck
