A plea- illegible fonts

Saw this on Lpaband board, but I wish for this too...

Many now use tablets or phones to access the internet. Small handwriting type script (comic sans) may look pretty but it is almost impossible to read. If you keep it small, a magnifying glass is required, if you stretch it you have to keep scrolling to read a whole line.

I thought it might just be my aged eyes but I tried it on my son with excellent vision and he found the same.

I find it difficult to read comic sans....

Thank you. This has been stated before but no one listens. I just skip anything that's written in comic sans.

I stopped using Comic Sans for just that reason. Unfortunately because some have Apple products (and I do too) that don't support PC fonts, it can't be their problem. If the font and the light colors are there, they will be used....that simple, just skip over them

Not directed to you Dee !!

I almost always just skip them, too, so I was glad when YOU stopped using it, Martha!

Thanks Lora!  I didn't know about it until you said something, then I had to break the habit.

I do skip them, but thought it'd be nice for people to know. But question: how is your reply not directed to Dee, but the rest of us if her problem is the same?

I don't really understand your question. What I meant by that line you are referring is that I wasn't singling her out. In general we all can choose to read what we want to. This subject has been brought up several times and most continue to use the font that they want to. I stopped when it was called to my attention that it was a problem.

Just as I choose to not read posts about poop and periods you (or anyone) can choose not to read posts that your Apple product changes to script.

I don't know how to make it clearer... Just seems like your reply had a "tone" of snark, but the snark wasn't directed toward Dee. But if you aren't Dee, then yes, the snark is for you.

Obviously you don't know me, I have been on this forum for years and have never been accused of being "snarky". I'm sorry if you misinterpreted something. There was nothing meant by it.

Posted in plain print from my iPad........Yeesh! (No tone, no snark)
