having a rough time

Agreeing with everyone else.  You did nothing wrong and it is what it is.  Some people have more problems than others.  Thank goodness you were still in the hospital so they could monitor and fix things.  My hospital is over 300 miles from my home!

Hoping things get better soon for you!

YOU did NOTHING wrong. It's just so happens you are one of the lower percentage of people who have problems. I am glad it is happening when you're in the hospital instead of having who knows what happen at home and have to go back.

Sending you hugs and trust things will work out!

I will care for my body so that I can feel the pleasure of being fit & fully alive as I grow older.

Feel better!  It will get better - and be thankful that you are right where you need to be where Dr's can take care of you and get it all figured out.  I was in the hospital for 5 days after my RNY and it is very hard to stay upbeat when you just want to go home.  Hugs!

Thanks all for the kind words. Just got back to my room from imaging...they did an upper gi and a small bowel. That pine sol was nasty, ended up getting real sick from it. Good news is that i do not have a leak/kink/stricture. My surgeon just came in and said we are going to slow it down. He put me back on water only for the rest of the day, and told me not to have any expectations of when i am leaving. He restated that i was doing everything right, just my body is a little slow on the uptake!
So for now i am settled in for a long weekend in the hospital. Going to try to take it slow and not stress about the timeline.
Thanks again for all the encouragement, it means the world to me.
Jenn
