I figured it would be neat to see what everyone's go to food is. It also gives others some ideas of what foods they could eat.

My default food is pintos & cheese or deli ham & cheese rollups.

What is your default food?

I'm still eating soft food right now due to oral surgery (over a month now) so my go to food is usually yogurt, sugar free pudding, a protein drink or a sugar free fudgecicle.  If I could chew it would probably be cheese or nuts or a protein bar.

I love trail mix but I have to be careful because of the calories.

I do too.  My husband makes his own by going to those big bulk food stores.  We get the no salt, blanched nuts.  We stick to no sugar added dried fruit (though you have to be careful and keep those to a minimum) and semi-sweet choc chips.   As long as I measure a small enough serving size, it seems to go okay with calories, etc.   Its my treat every couple of days!!!

When I have it around, it's beef jerky. But it's expensive and is high in sodium, so I don't have it all the time.

It's RNY outside.
