Anger!

I have some major justified anger & I don't know how to deal with it! I can't smoke, drink, or EAT! WTH. My best friend told me to walk it off, but y'all would be calling me "Forrest Gump" if I did. I'd keep walking until I was 2 states away solving my anger issue. But seriously, any ideas? I'm somewhat calmer now than earlier today, but my gut reaction was, Hey there's McD's! I went shopping instead.

To top it off, I drank 2 ozs of water a little too soon & a little too fast after eating my awesome boiled shrimp for lunch. I'm kinda miserable right now. This puts me 16 ozs of water & a protein shake behind schedule for the day...UGH!

I write it out and work it out. It helps me to clarify my feelings to write things down, so I can pinpoint exactly what I feel the problem is and if there are any possible solutions. Even if there isn't, it helps to get it out.

I always feel better after some exercise, no matter how pissed I was to start. I find it hard to sustain a good mad after a half hour or so of walking, or stomping, as I've sometimes done.

I decided to get back on Lexapro.. it really helps with my emotions... I hate to be dependent on drugs... but I am in much better mood... at least for now.

Punching bag. Wears you out....I used to have one and would put on my "angry music" super loud and just beat the crap out of it. Lol

Talk about it.  Write about it.  Write a letter to the person you're angry at (you don't have to send it).  Punch a pillow.  Put on loud, fast music and dance.  Scrub your bathtub.
