Was this dumping?

Snack at 9:30 wheat this peanut butter with SS jelly. I went to sleep at 10:45 last night. I had nausea so I took a pill that helps ( starts with a P) and a muscle relaxer due to a leg issue. I woke up not able to take a good breath. there was a hand sized spot pain area on the right side of my stomach. I almost went to the ER, but decided to try a hot shower and try sleep if it didn't get worse.

My hubby put the pillows high so I would not be laying flat. It made me relax enough to sleep. This morning the pain I felt is gone and I can breathe without opening my mouth to bring in as much air as possible.

ideas?

 

 

Not dumping.  My attitude is if you have to ask if you dumped you probably didn't.  

How far out are you.  I would definitely give your surgeon a call and at least let him know about what happened.

Opps, forgot to add that dumping usually occurs within 30 minutes or so of eating the offending food.

Anytime you have to breath with your mouth open to get as much air as possible should have been your red flag warning to get your butt to the ER!  Now go and make sure you are looked at.  Jane

Definitely not dumping. But do you still have your gall bladder? Sounds very similar to what I experienced when I had gall bladder attacks.

I called the office and they feel it was the anti-nausea medication and muscle relaxer not meshing well. I should have gone, but after the shower was able to sleep. I took it easy today and feel better. They didn't want me to come in to be checked, so I am assuming the massive shivers were causing a bit of a panic attack or so.

 

Lets hope it was a one time thing. And my gallbladder was removed.
