Hi everyone,

I am 8 weeks post op and I have been having the worst case of oily skin and acne in my face! I have never had such breakouts b4 and keep in my I have been out of my teens for a while. Did anybody else experience this? What did you do, creams and washes have not worked yet... Any suggestions no

You are losing weight rapidly and your hormones are also changing,  Your skin sheds cells everyday and with rapid weight loss cannot keep up. Find a good exfoliant to clean the excess oil and debris from your skin.  That will keep it from clogging the pores and causing whiteheads, blackheads and pimples.

An excellent way to deal with the hormones is a natural progesterone cream that you can get at a health store.  It will balance out your system, decrease water retention, make your periods more regular and improve your mood.

I have been having skin and period problems post op too.  At first it was break outs, now is seems to have changed to dry and flaky skin.  WTH even my dry skin breaks out the week before my period.   I am hoping once the extremely fast loss slows down everything will go back to normal.  HORMONES!!!!!  I may look into the cream that was mentioned by an earlier responder.
