My surgeon doesn't want us having chicken until we are six months out because he finds it is the highest cause of vomiting post-surgery. So, I do ground beef, meatballs, chili, yogurt (Greek and Carbmaster), isopure ready-to-drink zero carb drinks, pepperoni, Italian sausage, eggs, milk, cheese, hummus, and some cooked veggies, if there is room.
I eat 1/4 cup (or 2 ounces by volume) at a time, and I have about 4 meals a day. I try to do protein-forward foods first. I get the rest of my protein in through the RTD Isopure, and milk.
