We are in mexicali and are being picked up in two hours to go to the hospital. I'm wide awake despite the Ativan I was given for last night. Alamater Hospital is clean and everyone is very friendly and I think this will be a positive experience. I am the only one having an RNY today and I'll be the second case, which makes it a long morning for my sweetie but I am sure it will speed by. It might take them that long to find a vein. Yesterday's blood draw was, ummm, extended due to me being very cold.

Good luck! I will be praying for you! Hopefully, they didn't have a difficult time getting IV access (I can sympathize, I got stuck 9 times for my IV, and I'm usually a very easy IV stick).
