Period question

I over 3 months out and have had a normal period. It has gotten a little heavier and started a day earlier but thats no big deal. I am and have been on BC pills to keep me regular. Well last week Wednesday my body decided to start a week early, no biggie I thought. But I am still bleeding. Should I just wait til it would normally be over or should I call the one doc. It is heavier then before and getting annoying because I don't lose weight on my period grrr lol. Any suggestions?

I am only 3 weeks out and have had 1 period since.  Pre-op my period lasted about 5 days and post-op was 10 flippin' days that were rediculously heavy!!!!  I thought it would never end!  I haven't spoke with my dr about it yet, I figure I will see how the next one goes and go from there.  Did you have RNY???  If so the BC pills don't get absorbed well enough to keep you regular or from getting pregnant.  If it worry's you, definately talk to your doc.   

I've had mine for over a month .. my Dr reminded me that I just went through major surgery and that its normal. She mentioned that if it was heavy to be sure to up my iron supplements. Very frustratong especially not knowing if its just gonna appear again. The good thing is that its normal, as im told.

Mine are doing the same thing. Last month mine lasted 22 days. The month before that 18 days and the month before was 16. It sucks !!! I don't loose while I'm on my period either or the day or two before it starts. When I questioned my doc he said its normal during the first year or do for this to happen and as my weight loss slows my period should be more normal.

I had a period in January and it lasted a week.  Then it was followed by six weeks of spotting to light to moderate bleeding.  I finally went to my OB/Gyn to get off the pill and onto Nuvaring.  Sadly nothing has changed.  Still spotting on Nuvaring.  OB says to try it for three months and then we will go off BC and see if my body can regulate over a three month period.  He was not worried about anything but I am furious with the never ending cycle.  So I dont have any suggestions but I feel your pain.
