Just an FYI in case you didn't know.......
I have a well-founded fear of donuts. True story.
But the other day I did kinda crack out on dark chocolate squares (I had about...8 of them maybe?). I got what I call a "mini-dump." Fast heartbeat and general feeling of weirdness but no aches/gastrointestinal wonkyness, etc. But still that was enough to scare me straight!

I love chocolate, I would die if I didn't eat it. So I buy small individual treats so I can indulge and not be a miserable ***** that I would be if I didn't. I can eat one, two makes me really sick, so I stick to one. My will power is pretty good, I have a huge basket of Easter candy sitting in my bedroom now, because I love Russell Stover candy eggs, in a variety of flavors. I didn't have one today because I had my chocolate fix already, a friend at work gave me a box of Semoa's, I ate three and gave the box away. I don't eat at work and that is the last thing I need on my desk a box of cookies I love. I would rather starve then give up my chocolate. lol
The Raspberry filled glazed donut from KK is to die for! Oh I miss the days of donuts! I still have one a few times a year, but I dump so easily I can't get the Raspberry one any more :( It has to be a plain old fashioned or a glazed without the glaze.
I hope your neck feels better :)

I'm so glad we don't have Krispy Kreme here, those things are the devil, lol. Guess we will never truly learn to stop seeking food for comfort. Even knowing that time of feeling like crap will strike AGAIN we'll take that chance.
