Protein, vitamins, and being prepared!
So I ordered the sample pack from Unjury and one from Celebrate. I for sure like the Unjury protein taste better. Both seem to have good customer service. Unjury's new Opurity vitamins seem to be comparable but cheaper then some of the others. as its 35.00 for a 90 day supply of the multi. Eventually I will probably figure out which over the counters, generics, and other options are out there but I would like to start with something that autoships and I can get everything I need in one place. Just till I get the swing of things.
Has anyone used either company. What are you opinions. Was it easy to cancel an autoship?
Did you regret ordering to much before surgery? ( I ask cause it seems your tastes and what hurts your new tummy changes drastically so I'd hate to order and find out my new pouch hates it all)
Other than vitamins and proteins what other items did you (or did you wish you had) make sure was in the house.
I am hoping to not have to go out to much the first week beyond walking and napping A LOT!
Thanks Sarah
I've never ordered from Unjury but I love the customer service from Celebrate. The president of the company, or CEO or whatever he's called, is named Vic. You can email him and he'll get right back to you or you can call and speak with him on the phone. He's great about answering questions like why they use certain forms of vitamins in their products and very knowlegeable.

I'm lucky because my taste hasn't changed after surgery. I would recommend trying lots of protein samples. I finally found samples for Syntrax Matrix on mybariatricpantry.com (thanks to a thread that someone posted yesterday). These were the items I bought at the store before surgery: healthy request cream soups, Ocean spray diet cran grape juice. chicken broth, listerine breath strips, gas x strips, sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles, skim milk, cream of wheat cereal, and sugar free pudding. I also bought my favorite protein drink, which is Slim Fast high protein powder (creamy chocolate). I mix it with 2 tbsp. of PB2 (peanut butter powder) and it tastes so yummy! The shake has 15 g. of protein and the pb2 has 5 so that makes my shake 20 g. of protein. I wish that I liked some of the higher protein shakes (like Premier-30 g.) but I just hate the way they taste.
Good luck to you!
