How do you do that weight chart at the bottom of you message?

As I sat down to eat my one tablespoon of refried beans with a couple of shreds of low fat cheese on top I thought the same thing.  I also did not feel like eating either.  I know it will get better because most people do well as long as they follow the rules.  I know I needed the jump start and really could not do it on my own.

I just made a pot of chili and will puree a bit for me for the week and am thinking that, in the end, I will be happy I did this.

I think most people feel this way in the beginning. The first couple of months are the hardest! The thing is - you already had the surgery - it's done!! No point in wasting energy on regrets now! Look to the future! Soon you will have a ton of energy and the weight will start dropping off and you will be able to eat a greater variety of food. I can eat almost anything in small doses!

You are totally normal here. I felt that way at first too. Once you can eat regular foods it gets better. I have found at almost 7 months out I enjoy food more than before. Now I take my time and savor the great flavors of the small amounts of food I eat. If the food isn't good and good for me I don't eat it! Your life will get more normal just give it some time!

Honestly no regrets ever, food was not my friend, it made me fat and miserable, once we broke up after wls it was forever.  I like being size 6 more then I like eating anything.

You can have all he regrets you want but what is done is done, time to get over it and embrace change or doom yourself to repeat the behavior that got you to the point of needing wls in he first place.

A lot of us here have had the same feelings. I did the first week or so, too, but as I got over the effects of surgery and felt stronger. I got over it. Rest up. You'll feel better soon!!

I am 6 1/2 weeks out and the first month was the hardest. I feel so much better now, it's crazy.

For me, I lost really fast in the first two weeks, then BRICK WALL. And it has trickled off slowly. I kept saying, damn I could lose 2 pounds on weigh****chers!! But really, could I? uhm - that's why I am here.

Just trust everyone that says it does get better.

I will be honest. I do miss woofing down a huge Bonzai Burger from Red Robin - and when I feel that way, I whip out my before pics on my phone and remind myself what those meals did for me.

Normal! I'm about 5 months out and I completely had buyers remorse until about 2 months ago, but now I'm eating a little more and I feel like I'm getting more & more normal everyday. I've lost 85 pounds & am eating better, starting to really be thankful for my new body and my new eating habits. I don't really deprive myself of anything that I "want" I just eat ALOT less & I "want" better more quality food now! The way you feel us normal, "just keep swimming"....you'll get there!!
