Support groups

My brother in law recently had RNY surgery, he lives in Clarkesville TN is there a support group there? The nurse that used to do support groups left Ft. Campbell. If anyone knows where he can go to ask questions let me know. I help him some but I live in Georgia. I am 9 years out.

Tell him to get on here!!! I go to our local support group every month but the people on here are my daily support group!

There's a TN forum here on OH - click on forums, then on GO LOCAL.....maybe someone can help him with a support group. I also had some luck when I was looking for a group by googling the internet for WLS support groups in my city.

I would suggest he look at the website for the bariatric program at Centennial in Nashville. They have support groups all over Middle Tennessee and they are open to all. I'm having my surgery with them in May.
