I see the nut for the first time tomorrow. What should I expect? Is there a test or something?

No tests... they just give you loads and loads of information....  I guess it's good that my insurance requires 6 visits... I should have it learned by then... LOL

Yep, tons of info. I have to have 6 visits as well. I go for my second visit on April 11th. The info I got at my first visit was about making healthy eating choices for the first month pre-op, info on all the vitamins, calcium, etc, concentrate on little caffeinated beverages, drink lots of low cal and water.
Ask a bunch of questions and if you think of some after you leave and in between appts, write them down. I started a journal of things to ask that I have thought of so far. I am also keeping a food journal for everything I eat.
Have a great appt.

Lot's of information, if you have any kinds of food logs it doesn't hurt to bring them but it's not necessary as they will probably have their own forms for you to fill out.  Good luck.

Start right off doing MY Fintness Pal. (MFP) If you have been doing it pre-Op bring the logs in with you. If not tell the NUT you will be doing that based on what she or he tells you that you need per day as far as food intake. There is no test just a lot of infromation depending on how good the NUT is.
