Weight gain and bp Meds

I am freaking out a little here.  I am 10 weeks out and music took me off blood pressure Meds.  Since I stopped taking them, I have gained four pounds.  I realize this is water retention, as my med was also a water pill, but I'm not sure how much weight I should normally gain.  I am trying to cut back on sodium, but I love salt and it has been difficult for me.  Has anyone been through it and can share their experience.  This is from my iPad and I can't correct, above should say doc and not music, weird.  Just learning this iPad.
