Day 11 & still STALLing! WTH?!?
protein is the key, I am about to kick mine in high gear yet again. I am 5mos almost 6mos come 4/12 and while I have done very well and extremely happy with 120lb loss so far. I have been stuck for over a month now, flopping between 257 & 260. Its frustrating to say the least, push protein, fluids and vitamins....
Hi Sweetie,
I just wanted to give you some encouragement. I had WLS 15 months ago with Dr. Provost and wanted you to know that if you follow his plan the weight will come off. My highest recorded weight was 358#s. size 32 jeans and a 5x shirt. Today i sit at 153#s size 8 jeans and a size large top. The stalls will come and go. Keep working it. Focus on everyday increasing your protein little by little. Focus on fluids. Walk a little everyday, even if its just walking around the house. You will be fatigued for a while. If possible rest when you can. Its been a long time since I updated photos but I will soon. Also a good idea is to measure your self. I have lost just over 2 feet in my tummy. Its hard to believe that! Much luck to you.

At this point you should be able to get food down, water down and not "foam" after everything. Are you eating the right things? Do you have a stricture? Check with your doctor. Go back to liquids if you need to and start over - your doc needs to know that you can't keep anything down. If you're eating the wrong foods, too much or too fast you'll foam. Once you've foamed or thrown up-go to liquids for 24 hours so it can heal. You may have a problem with your sutures inside if you're this new out. Foaming is something's not agreeing with you and if it's happening often you could have something that needs to be fixed inside. Call your docs office and tell them what's going on. It's not normal to foal with everything and not be able to put anything bigger than a pea down after a couple weeks. You could be stalling cause your body wants to, you're eating the wrong things, not getting in enough water or you have a complication that needs attention. Please call your doc. You don't have to live like this - it should be smooth sailing with liquids, pureed foods and soft toods. Losing should be fairly steady the first month or two. Let us know what the doc says.
