How was everyone's Easter?
I did pretty good. I was actually able to tolerate the ham (yay) and had a tiny bit of spaghetti squash mac and cheese and 1/2 of one of my dad's homemade perogies (yum!) I tasted a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of lemon bread and it was disgustingly sweet lol Candy is never much of a temptation for me and my youngest is diabetic anyway, so we don't really go overboard on candy.
I have been keeping busy with the new puppy (Sami) trying to house train her, which is pretty much a full time job lol

I had a GREAT weekend, just have to share....unfortunately I had a funeral on Friday afternoon but the compliments from me dressing up were a little astounding. I went shopping Saturday night for a dress...first dress in years that I bought that doesn't have black in it! Man it's cute and it's not a granny dres****s right below the knee...these legs need some sunshine on them... :) Even though it's still plus size...the ability to buy buy something off the rack is amazingly freeing...Most of my shopping prior to surgery was done online....and really didn't have a size it was elastic waisted or an 4-5X top. Sunday, spent the afternoon with family and then my son and I went to his school so we could ride bikes! More practice for me but it was still wonderful...going to have to find more places to ride and make it fun. :)
Just had to share with all of you...I always think of posting when I do something for the first time and want to share because you know how I am feeling!
Much love,
Sherry
Sorry about the funeral :( But yay about the dress! That's great!
